With the rapid growth of HeartFire Education Service Ltd. (HeartFire), we are now looking for high-calibre candidates to take up 7 challenging roles for our executive committee.
HeartFire Education Service Ltd. has been registered as a non-profit making organization (NGO) dedicated to :
- organizing inspiring service trips to developing districts especially rural areas in mainland China (with an aim to improve education and address education gap),
- conducting cultural exchange programmes, and
- developing scholarship schemes

Our team works on a voluntary basis but those you gain from us such as deeper spiritual enlightenment , better personal development and greater social networks, would go far beyond monetary compensation.
General requirements for candidates :
– Living in Hong Kong
– Able to attend regular HeartFire meetings in Hong Kong twice a week, 2 hours each
time. Plus communication and follow up actions after meetings.
– Able to dedicate at least one year commitment term to the HeartFire position being offered
– Recognize and believe in HeartFire’s mission and values
– University degree holder or above, or current university students in any discipline
– Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English
– Able and willing to devote leisure time to HeartFire Education after your work or university studies
– Passionate about education/community service/social enterprises

2014Q3 Recruitment of Executive Committee
Operation Department
- Position: Event Manager
Job Duties :
– Assist Operation Director in developing, planning and executing company promotions and events (annual dinner, ceremony, team building activity, membership life-style seminar/workshop and large scale event). May have the opportunity to be the person-in-charge of the events
– Prepare project plan and project status to provide high quality deliverables with team satisfaction
– Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure all deliverables are conforming to the schedule and event requirements
– Plan and coordinate the logistic arrangements on the spot
– Prepare and review event documentations and event financial reports
– Draft documents such as invitation letter and thank you letter etc.
– Prepare bilingual post-event write-ups for marketing purpose
– Gather, understand and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
– Handle ad hoc projects
Requirements:
– Be a team player with good presentation, interpersonal, organizing and communication skills
– Good command of written and spoken Chinese & English
– Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power Point. Familiar with Adobe illustrator or Photoshop is an advantage
– Detail-minded
– Strong interest in event management
– Active HF members are highly preferred. New HF members with event planning skills will also be considered
2.Position: CRM Manager – Planning and Database Management
Job Duties :
– In charge of HeartFire Education Ltd. Database Establishment Campaign
– HeartFire Education database regular maintenance and timely update upon completion of service trips, corporate events, cultural exchange activities, HF scholarship awardees list announcement
– Gather the above mentioned data from various stakeholders. Organize, consolidate , categorize and upload these data onto online storage website
– Formulating, consolidating and managing the continuous expanded HF stakeholder personal portfolios (e.g. members, trip participants, donors, partners and volunteers)
Requirements:
– Good team player
– Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Power Point
– Good analytical and presentation skills plus good interpersonal skills
– Be well organized, attentive to details
– Good command of both written English and Chinese
– Current bachelor degree student in any discipline are highly preferred

Marketing Department
- Position: Media Manager
Job Duties:
– Establish HeartFire official Weibo Account
– Update Facebook, Wechat and Weibo frequently
– Publish HeartFire historical news and trips
– Improve existing website
– Update website news frequently
– Assist in other marketing department activities
Requirement:
– Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese & English
– Good interpersonal skills
– Good at website design and maintenance
– Good team player
2.Position: Publications Manager
Job Duties:
– Design HeartFire Newsletter Monthly/Quarterly
– Design and publish Annual Reports
– Design other official materials, e.g. Course Guideline
– Design HeartFire posters, banners, pamphlets etc.
– Manage all marketing materials
– Assist in planning and executing other marketing department activities
Requirement:
– Good command of written and spoken Chinese & English
– Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
– Good at Adobe illustrator, Photoshop etc

3. Position: Public Relations Manager
Job Duties:
– Liaise with HeartFire PolyU Chapter and HeartFire executive committee members for obtaining any materials required
– Assist in finding potential donors/partners
– Liaise with existing donors/partners to explore donation and collaboration opportunities
– Assist in planning and executing activities leaded by marketing department
Requirement:
– Good command of written and spoken Chinese & English
– Good team player

– Excellent communication skills
4. Position: Event Marketing Manager
Job Duties:
– Attend press conferences
– Organize marketing promotion events
– Assist in finding potential donors/partners
– Responsible for the liaison among teammates in marketing department
– Assist in planning and executing activities leaded by marketing department
